DESCRIPTION: Inspired by the original 50’s period “On Air” lights often seen in old radio stations, recording studios, TV stations and feature films.

original ones are now near impossible to find, or ridiculously expensive when you are lucky enough to find one, we would know... We’ve searched high and low for one to grace our doorway at home.

Covid came and to keep my brain from going insane during lockdown, I decided enough was bloody enough, other reproductions looked cheesy and too new.... it was time to make my own.

Combining creative energy and passion I studied old school sign writing techniques and followed up with the craft of ageing materials, gratefully passed down to me through multiple generations of antique masters.

The warm glow and eclectic presence the sign gifts our whare has never gone unnoticed, visitors and friends are forever asking “could you pretty please make me one?”
